Dear Kiyotaka,
I kept spm8 and spm12 in a separate folder but the drive in same (C drive) [ system windows 32 bit]
I tried the same thing with the same modified script (spms) in my personal laptop ( MAC OS) and it worked perfectly.
Now I am really confused !!! :(
