I have a question regarding the removal of initial functional scans for resting-state analyes. Is there a difference between manually excluding the first X scans when importing functional images into CONN and using the "remove (X) initial scans" step in the included preprocessing pipeline? I imagine there could be a difference regarding e.g. the motion regressor, but I am not sure how CONN uses the "remove initial scans" step internally.
