RE: Between & Within subjects design for Repeated Measures
If I have this right, the between-subject matrix would look like:
1 0 0 3.2
1 0 0 3.0
1 0 0 5.1
1 0 0 4.5
0 1 0 7.0
0 1 0 8.5
0 1 0 5.6
0 1 0 7.2
0 0 1 3.0
0 0 1 2.1
0 0 1 1.5
0 0 1 3.0
where subject-mean is the first 3 columns, and covariate of interest is 4th column.
and the within- subject would replace the ones with the covariate of interest?
1 0 0 3.2
1 0 0 3.0
1 0 0 5.1
1 0 0 4.5
0 1 0 7.0
0 1 0 8.5
0 1 0 5.6
0 1 0 7.2
0 0 1 3.0
0 0 1 2.1
0 0 1 1.5
0 0 1 3.0
where subject-mean is the first 3 columns, and covariate of interest is 4th column.
and the within- subject would replace the ones with the covariate of interest?
