Dear Alfonso, dear all

Apologies when this question sounds trivial. Still relatively little has been published on ICC (Intrinsic Connectivity Contrast) and ILC (Integrated Local Correlation) and I wonder what is the best practical application of these methods. Is it conceptually meaningful to use them for correlation with external scores (such as patients' clinical score, trait or behavioral performance)?
