Condition setup - identical sessions
Dear Conn experts,
I am trying to setup my conditions for my resting state fMRI project using the CONN toolbox. In fact, my only "condition" is resting state. I have 38 subjects, and 2 sessions per subject. However, the 2 sessions are identical (all of the patients underwent 1 resting-state session immediatly followed by another one, the goal was to offer a very short brake to the patients between the runs instead of having one long one).
Using the CONN gui (I will use the batch command later), I have a doubt concerning the parameters I have to put in the SETUP page. Indeed, I saw the "condition spans entire session" and "condition not present in the session" options.
CONN automaticaly creates a REST condition and categorizes, for each ubject, the first session with "condition spans entire session" and the second session with ""condition not present in the session".
My question is :
- Should I let this setup as it is proposed by CONN, and check the "Allow missing data" option so I can go to the Denoising tab ?
- Should I change the second session of each subject to "condition spans entire session", so both session 1 and 2 have the same setup ?
Thanks a lot for your help,
Mathilde
