RE: Inclusion of time varying covariates
Hi,
Typically you would define both covariates in Setup.Covariates (2nd-level) and also define there the associated "change" covariates (e.g. define 'TCV_change' as 'TCV_time2 - TCV_time1'), and then, depending on the specific group-level analysis that you may be considering, would include one or several of the above variables. For example, you may define a model such as:
Subject-effects : AllSubjects, TCV_change
Between-subjects contrast: [0 1]
Conditions: Time1, Time2
Between-conditions contrast: [-1 1]
to evaluate the association between change in functional connectivity and change in TCV.
Hope this helps
Alfonso

Hi all,
We plan to include two covariates in our analyses when comparing FC between two time points: age and total cranial volume.
Does anyone know how we would include two time varying covariates in the second level analyses - with age increasing between time1 and time2 and TCV decreasing between time1 and time2?
Many thanks.
