Can we bypass the denoising step if the covariate setup is changed?

Hi Alfonso,

I have a question about the denoising step.

  1. In one analysis, I got to first-level and second-level tabs already, but I needed to update the .tsv file to explore different ways of modelling the data. After updating the .tsv file in the condition setup, I clicked "Update changes from Setup to Denoising tab".

To my surprise, CONN required me to go through the denoising step again before I could re-do the first-level and second-levels. To make things worse, the confound-corrected dswau*.nii files were corrupted after this step.

Did I mess up by pressing the "Update changes" button? Normally, if we update the condition setup (say replacing the .tsv file), do we need to redo the denoising step?

Thank you very much for your kind attention.

Best,
Manson
