Hello,

I am currently planning to do analysis on pre-/post-treatment resting state fMRI datasets of patients with anxiety disorders along with healthy controls. The CONN handbook mentions in the analysis section that I should be looking at a 2x2 ANOVA but I am wondering if I shouldn't be doing an ANCOVA (including things like sex, age, education level, ... as covariates of no interest) instead? I am going back and forth on this so I was wondering if anyone has some pointers for me?
