Hi Alfonso,
I am performing the second-level analysis on 266 images. Due to the restricted memory space I have used an external harddisk to perform the process. The whole preprocessing, denoising, and first-level analysis till SBC was completed and generated 2.4 TB data. The hard disk still has 50% space for further processing.
When I performed the ICA analysis in the first level tab, the process took 2 hours and crashed (both the CONN and MATLAB windows closed); I tried performing the MVPA analysis, and I also had the same issue.
My system configuration is 64GB RAM, NVIDIA RTX 6000 GPU, and 1TB internal storage. Due to the huge space requirement, I am using the external drive.
I have tried all the troubleshooting options from the Mathwork documentation and the online IT Support by their agent, But the problem is the same. Then the IT agent from MATLAB told me that there was some issue with CONN itself.
I am trying to apply all the possible options for solving the issue but no positive results.
For the last 10 days, I have repeatedly performed the analysis and deleted the results after abnormal crashes. I can't copy the whole data and results to the local drive, also.
I have one last option to try, which is to copy the data on the local drive (possibly the external drive has huge data, and due to this, it is not able to buffer the data for a longer time in the local drive or some data transfer issue.
Is there any way where I can copy only the required files for the second-level analysis instead of the whole data? If yes then which are those files that are important for ICA and MVPA analysis.
I hope to get faster response as my whole work got stuck here and I cant proceed without the second level completion.
Thank you.
