RE: NKI/Rockland Sample Fixes
Please see our response following your questions below. We hope this helps.

Best,
Kate & Melissa

1) How do I have to read the additional information about DSMIV diagnoses? CurrDx as well as LifeDx have values like 300.7; 296.31; 296.23 and so on. Is there a key for interpreting these values?

REPLY: These are based on the DSM-IV-TR Codes,listed in that book.Here is one online source for DSM-IV-TR Codes: http://behavenet.com/apa-diagnostic-clas...

2) And does FamilyHx code if there was any case of DSMIV psychiatric disorder in the family(parents?)?

REPLY: No, it is dichotomous yes(1)/no(0).

3) Participant's socioeconomis status (SES) seems to be missing (empty column), but there are now additional fields for parentalSES and volunteerSES. What does volunteerSES stand for?

REPLY: VolunteerSES is the socioeconomic status of the participant based on the Hollingshead Four Factor Index of Socio Economic Status. ParentalSES is the socioeconomic status of the parent, if that person is a child based on the Hollingshead Four Factor Index of Socio Economic Status.

4) Also, how is Language coded?

REPLY:
1= English
2=Spanish
3=AsianDialect
4=AfricanDialect
5=IndianDialect
6= Other

5) What is meant by License?

REPLY: This is whether the person has a diver's license. It is also a dichotomous yes(1)/no(0).
