Has anyone used IRTK for registration on CT data? I have tested the registration tool with brain MR images, which works fine.

Now I am trying to use it o align intra-subject abdominal CT scans, but I have not make it work for me. I used the default configuration with its rigid registration (rreg), which provided me the result that was not reasonably aligned (e.g., the pelvis is off by 5 inches ... ). I played with a few parameters (e.g., padding value, similarity measure, etc.)  for adjustment, which didn't help a lot.

I have no idea whether I neglected some imporatant parameters, or I didn't regularize the image format correctly for irtk. BTW, my images are in nifti format, with the resolution arround 0.9mm x 0.9mm x 3mm, and the dimension around 512 x 512 x 160.

So I wonder if anyone has some experience on this. I'll be appreciated for your help.
