RE: Effect Sizes using TFCE
Hi Mayron,
Regarding (1) yes, you can simply include the effect-size plots (e.g. average connectivity values within each group at each cluster) as part of the figures reporting these results. And regarding (2) you may use the 'import values' button to import the connectivity values within each cluster for each subject, and then in the Tools.Calculator tab define the same second-level model to display the effect-sizes. Alternatively you may use the attached patch which adds an option to the effect-size plots GUI to export those effect-size values to a file directly (to use this option, right-click on the table on that figure and select 'export effect sizes'). Tis patch is for release 20b, to use it copy the attached file to your conn distribution folder overwriting the file with the same name there
Hope this helps
Alfonso

Hi Alfonso,
We have used CONN to compare two distinct groups (Group A vs Group B) correcting for sex and site (data were collected in 4 different places).
The contrast used was 1 -1 0 0 0 0 0 and we then used used threshold-free cluster enhancement (TFCE).
We got a request from a reviewer to report effect sizes for the analysis. Is there a way to do that in CONN? I know we can see effect size graphs, so 1) would it make sense to add those graphs to the figures, and 2) is there a way to export effect size values?
Thank you so much
Mayron
