gPPI conditions' effect sizes meaning?
Dear Alfonso / CONN community,
I have a question on what the effect sizes mean when I plot the results from a ROI-to-ROI gPPI analysis.
see in the plot section (picture): what the effect sizes represent here?
Is it that the gPPI values are transformed to some other metric? (is it any kind of z-like transformation ?)
To be sure about my understanding:
the gPPI values represent relational task connectivity in each condition; thus, func connectivity is decreased here in the Lures (vs. repeats condition).
1b) You mentioned before the gPPI values are always relational and not absolute. So I always have to talk about connectivity of a contrast. How that relates to the effect size I get in the plot?
2) how could I plot these effects in an more clean way? (to avoid the too much text) :)
Thank you very much in advance :)
