Dear all,
maybe some of you have an answer to my questions about whether the ROIs used in CONN by default are defined as spheres of a certain (e.g., 5mm) radius around the given centre coordinates or whether they are have been defined differently ?
Further, I would like to know if the MNI coordinates for the atlas ROIs (atlas.groups.info) are the same as given in the network description (networks.groups.info)? I am particularly interested in the ROIs of the networks DMN, SN, FPN, CEN but am unsure whether for instance, the (left and right) anterior insula networks in the networks description (networks.Salience.AInsula (R) (47,14,0) ) correspond to the (left and right) insula (e.g., atlas.IC Insular Cortex Right)? Can I just assume that the coordinates of the atlas ROIs are the same as given in the info description of the network ROIs, even though the description may not be exactly the same as in the case for (anterior) insula ?
If there is more detailed description on the networks and coordinates given somewhere I am also happy to be pointed at the respective source, as I may have missed it during my search.
Thank you in advance!
Best,
Hana
